
- In 48 hours following your session, the lasered area should be kept as dry as possible. It is natural for your skin to appear a little red and swollen. A cold compress wrapped in a towel can be applied to the area to help reduce swelling and ease discomfort.
- It is common for the treated area to blister after treatment and scabs may develop. DO NOT PICK AT SCABS OR BLISTERS, as this may cause permanent scarring.
- After 48 hours, the area can be washed using water and unscented soap, ensuring to pat (and not rub) dry. A thin coat of unscented ointment, such as Bepanthanen, can be applied up to 3 times daily.
- It is VITAL that you keep the treated area out of the sun while it is healing, and we advise using a very high factor sunblock. Swimming should be avoided until swelling and scabbing have subsided
